ZAO “NAFTAROS” was established in 1992 and since then has been successfully conducting business. Within its range of activities there are, project design and engineering, follow-up of projects and construction of plants and units for gas-and-oil, oil-refining and chemical industries and also solution of ecological problems for the mentioned industries.

In the course of projects’ fulfillment we use our well-established connections to ensure the supply of technological equipment, extremely complex and special metal constructions, component units and materials from various regions of the world including vendors from Europe, USA, Russia, CIS states.

For execution of civil and erection works, commissioning and other complicated and special works highly skilled specialists (process engineers, installers, welders, designers, starting-up and adjustment specialists, managers and so on) are enlisted from Russia, CIS states and Europe.

Within the scope of its major activity ZAO “NAFTOROS” took part in construction and renovation of the following projects:

• Construction of “Stetfield” complex for oil waste recovery and treatment (plant photo album) at Turkmenbashy Oil Refinery (Turkmenistan, 1995)
• Carrying out of technical inspection and repair of vertical and horizontal storage tanks at “Vnukovo” airport (Russian Federation, 1997)
• Oil-field construction at oil deposit “ARMAN” (Kazakhstan 1997-1999)
• Fuel-and-lubricant storage renovation of “Domodedovo Jet Service” Company’s fuel-supply complex (Russian Federation, 1999)
• Upgrading of catalytic cracking plant “1A-1M” at Turkmenbashy Oil Refinery (Turkmenistan, 1999)
• Construction of modular-unit boiler department with desalinator at Kenar transfer oil tank farm (Turkmenistan, 1999)
• Modernization of flare unit (plant photo album) and charging-stock-tank farms at Turkmenbashy Oil Refinery (Turkmenistan, 2000)
• Construction of tank farm at Eastern Cheleken deposit in Balkan welayat (Turkmenistan, 2002)
• A variety of repair work at preliminary crude oil refining plant ELOU-AT-4 of 3 million ton per year output including survey of Turkmenbashy Oil Refinery and its reconstruction basic designing (Turkmenistan, 2003)
• Comprehensive modernization and general overhaul of Turkmenbashy Oil Refinery’s delayed coker unit DCU-3 of 600 thousand ton per year output and bringing its output to 900 thousand ton per year (Turkmenistan, 2004)
• Modernization of primary crude oil refining plant ELOU-AT-2 at Turkmenbashy Oil Refinery (Turkmenistan, 2004)
• Upgrading of petroleum coke calcination unit PCCU-2 of 77 thousand ton per year at Turkmenbashy Oil Refinery (Turkmenistan, 2006)
• Construction of new primary crude oil refining complex ELOU-AT-6 of 2.5 million tons per year output instead of modernization of outdated units AT-1 and AT-3 at Turkmenbashy Oil Refinery (Turkmenistan, 2008)

Designing and construction of the following objects are carried out with direct participation of ZAO “NAFTAROS”:

• new primary crude oil refining complex ELOU-AT-7 of 3 million ton per year output at Turkmenbashy Oil Refinery (implementation period - till 2010)
• industrial sewage and reverse water supply networks at Turkmenbashy Oil Refinery at a total cost of $15,900,000 (implementation period - till 2010)
• first stage of ecological facilities designing for Turkmenbashy Oil Refinery including construction plan(?) of new treatment facilities, complex of research and monitoring works on the plan of natural and ecological restoration of the bay, sewage system reconstruction project, oil-slime recycling and oily soil recovery schemes (implementation period - till 2010).
